Travel & Teach - Indonesia

Overview

Indonesia is a really popular destination for you if you want a TEFL adventure and has a strong English Language teaching industry. As an oil rich country, there is still a strong demand for learning English and the industry is in need of more qualified native English teachers.

As Indonesia has the world’s largest Muslim population, it can be a real experience for Western EFL travellers. EF English First, is the largest EFL employer in the country and takes on mainly British and Australian teachers. You can expect a 1 year contract, paid holiday, reimbursed flights, medical cover and in some cases accommodation provided. There are plenty of job opportunities for native English speakers with degrees and a TESOL certificate.
